2011 - 2012 Grant Process

1. The grant process has been simplified considerably and its language will reflect the language of the district's strategic plan.

2. Grants should conform consistently to the Foundation's guidelines requiring innovation and creativity.

3. Grants will be due or postmarked by the second Monday following Spring Break (one week after returning to school).

4. All grants must be signed by the campus principal who will validate that the request follows the district's strategic plan.

5. Grants will be judged by the Grant Committee, which will include Deena Lopez, Lisa Ham, and Joe Griffin of the Keller ISD. If they determine that a grant cannot fit into the district's strategic plan, the grant will be disqualified.

6. The Foundation will determine the total dollars available for gifting in a particular grant cycle, but is not required to make grants totaling the entire amount. Money not gifted will remain in the Foundation's account for future funding.
