KELLER ISD EDUCATION FOUNDATION WELCOMES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, KELLI MARSHALL
The Keller ISD Education Foundation Board of Directors announces the appointment of Kelli Marshall as the new Executive Director of the Foundation

Before joining the Keller ISD Education Foundation, Kelli served as the Director of Events and Marketing for BSwarms, LLC where she was directly responsible for event logistics, volunteer coordination, marketing and promotions. She began her career in the non-profit sector with the Northwest ISD Education Foundation and served in the roles of Events Coordinator and Partners in Education Specialist. She has also served the Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce as Director of Marketing and worked with the Jailbreak Racing Events as Director of Operations.

"Kelli is a great addition to our Foundation.  Her board experience in foundation work and her youthful energy combine to make her a perfect Executive Director." said John Baker, Chair.   Dr. Reid, Keller ISD Superientendent stated, "We are excited about the energy and enthusiasm that Kelli brings to the position.  Our partnership with the foundation is very strong and her experience should only enhance the opportunities for supporting our district."

Marshall is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University. Kelli Marshall succeeds D'Lee Marshall who served as Executive Director 2012-2014. D'Lee Marshall announced her departure in May 2014.

On Friday, April 25, at the Texas Motor Speedway, the Keller ISD Education Foundation and Keller ISD recognized teachers who impact learning through their innovative practices and champion learning for students each day and celebrated the Teacher of the Year recipients.

The Keller Rotary hosted their annual Golf Tournament on May 6 at the Sky Creek Golf Club.  The Keller ISD Education Foundation is proud to have been chosen as one of their selected charities.  The Rotary has graciously donated $4,300.00 to the Foundation.

Many thanks to the Rotary for selecting the Foundation as a chosen 2015 charity recipient.
 


2014-2015 GRANT PROGRAM TO
TO OPEN OCTOBER 1!

The Keller ISD Education invites all Keller ISD Educators; teachers, nurses, aides and counselors to begin plans for submission for the 2014-2015 grant program beginning October 1 and ending October 30.


GRANT RECIPIENTS RECOGNIZED AT ANNUAL GALA
 
Thirty-one (31) grant recipients were recognized and five (5) first year teachers were honored with the Lisa Veitenheimer Memorial Award at the second annual "Inspiration" Gala.

TEACHERS OF THE YEAR HONORED WITH CARS FROM SEWELL
 
Elementary Teacher of the Year:  Denise Koontz,
Trinity Meadows Intermediate School

 
Secondary Teacher of the Year:  Michael Otto,
Trinity Springs Middle School

In Partnership with the Keller ISD Education Foundation, Sewell Dealerships continued their tradition of providing the Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year a car of their choice to drive for the Summer of 2014.  Joining in the fun, Speedy Bee Car Wash provided a $150 gift certificate for car care service.  Sewell Dealerships added a new twist this year as the "Top Ten" teachers of the Year also received a car of their choice to drive for one week.  Many thanks to Sewell Dealerships and Speedy Bee Car Wash!

The Keller ISD Education Foundation welcomes you and is pleased you have interest in the education of the children of Keller ISD.  Through a strong partnership, we can continue to help the children of Keller ISD attain the goals they desire by enriching their educational experiences.

Our goal is to enhance the quality of our children's education by funding enrichment programs and technologies that are not supported by local and state budgets and provide scholarship funds to qualifying seniors of Keller ISD.

Through a blind selection process, the Keller ISD Education Foundation awarded twelve (12) $1000.00 scholarship awards to some of the Keller ISD's well deserved seniors.  Board President, Debbie Barton stated, "The Keller ISD Education Foundation continues to be impressed with these students' visions and goals for the future."  Congratulations to the following seniors:
